Academic Calendar and Enrollment Policies And Fees
Our school year extends from August through the final week of July, offering an engaging learning environment year-round. Our school day operates from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with exceptions for scheduled school closures as outlined in the school calendar.
Three Little Ducklings Learning Center welcomes children between the ages of 15 months and 5 years into our mixed-age group setting. Once a family is accepted and the registration fee is paid, we reserve a spot for the child until enrollment commences.
We kindly request that families provide written notice of their intention to leave Three Little Ducklings, with a minimum of 30 days’ notice. In cases where less than 30 days’ notice is given, the final tuition payment will be prorated accordingly. To ensure a smooth transition, all families are required to sign the “Enrollment Package,” which outlines both the school’s responsibilities to the family and the family’s responsibilities to the school. Before your child’s first day of attendance or the beginning of the new school year, all admission and enrollment forms must be completed, and accounts must be current.
After enrolling at Three Little Ducklings Learning Center, families are kindly requested to promptly notify the school of any updates or changes in their personal information. This includes, but is not limited to, contact details such as phone numbers, email addresses, residential addresses, and places of employment.
At Three Little Ducklings Learning Center, we consider tuition fees a vital part of ensuring the quality early education and care your child receives. Your timely payments allow us to maintain our commitment to providing affordable, top-tier childcare. We’ve outlined our policies and procedures regarding fee payments to keep you informed:
- Registration Fee : A one-time registration fee of $70 is due at the time of enrollment. Tuition payments are due on the first day of each month. We kindly request that families to provide at least 30 days' notice if any changes to enrollment are needed. Payments should be made in advance on the first business day of every month. Please note that there are no deductions from the monthly tuition amount for absences, family vacations, holidays, or closures due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather or power outages. Payment should align with the terms outlined in your child's enrollment form.
- Late Payment : Tuition payments are due on the first business day of each month. In the event of late payment, a late fee will be added to your account. If the account remains unpaid after 5 business days, your child may not attend school until the account is brought up to date. After 15 days of nonpayment, enrollment may be forfeited. The school reserves the right to take necessary steps to collect unpaid balances, which may include small claims or collections. Any expenses associated with these actions are the responsibility of the family.
- Late Pick-Up : We understand that emergencies may arise, necessitating late pick-up. However, it's essential to be mindful of timely pick-up. Late pick-up can impact children and affect teacher-to-child ratios. Keeping teachers at work beyond their scheduled hours can also impact their personal lives. Our school day operates from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you anticipate being unable to pick up your child by 5:00 pm, please inform the school in advance. Late pickups will be recorded, and the school will communicate any applicable fees via email.
- Please make every effort to plan your child's pick-up to ensure that our dedicated teachers can conclude their work at their scheduled times.
- Withdrawal : If a family decides to withdraw from our school for any reason, we require 30 days' written notice. During this 30-day period following the written notice, all tuition and fees owed to the school must be paid, whether or not the child attends school. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these policies.
